Le Master de spécialité SICe : l'ingénieur-stratège du complexe English version bellow

La formation SICe "Stratégie, Innovation, Complexité, écologie" a ouvert à la rentrée de septembre 2012, comme nouvelle spécialité autonome du Master UTC. Elle reprend et développe le parcours MISCE, précédemment hébergé, depuis 2010, par la spécialité de Master MQ

Profils souhaités des étudiants

Le profil du "public" concerné est principalement* celui d'ingeniorant UTC. Il s'agit d'étudiants-ingénieurs en cours de formation à l'UTC qui souhaitent mener, parallèlement à leur cursus d'ingénieur, un cursus de Master dans un domaine complémentaire (Management Stratégique de l'Innovation), afin d'obtenir un double diplôme et une double qualification : "Ingénieur-Stratège".

Langues

La deuxième année du Master, le M2, peut être délivrée en tout ou partie en anglais, en fonction de la composition linguistique du public. Dans ce cas, des supports complémentaires à la langue utilisée à l'oral sont fournis. La première année du Master est délivrée pour l'instant en français uniquement.

Agenda des études

L'organisation pédagogique aménagée pour les étudiants en double cursus commence par une inscription dès le M1, même si la majorité des cours spécifiques s'y réalise lors du M2. Les inscriptions directes en M2 sont également envisageables, tout comme un cursus sur 6 mois ou 1 an (en M2 seulement) pour les étudiants "internationaux".

Le cursus intégral du Master (M1 et M2) est prévu pour s'étendre sur 4 semestres . Ce format permet :

  • la réalisation du Master principalement en parallèle pour des étudiants ingéniorant UTC (possibilité d'1 semestre supplémentaire seulement par rapport à leur cursus d'ingénieur de référence, tel que conseillé par la Conférence des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs);
  • la réalisation d'un semestre de "brassage" et de contextualisation pour des étudiants provenant d'autres profils (de type MASS ou de type sciences sociales, humaines, ou philosophie)(environ 20% des effectifs prévus).
  • Le cursus pédagogique est orienté vers l'expérimentation de projets d'innovation étudiants, hébergés et accompagnés par le Centre d'Innovation de l'UTC, dans une logique d'innovation ascendante.
* 80% des étudiants environ sont prévus disposer de ce profil. 20% sont prévus disposer d'un profil différent, soit à orientation MASS soit à orientation plus "littéraire". Nous contacter pour plus de précision.

The MISCE curriculum "Management, Innovation, Strategy, Complex, Ecology" opens from the start of 2010 term as a new academic course inside the existing "Management of Quality"(MQ) Master. Therefore the curriculum enables to obtain a Master's Degree, recognized at the European level as part of the LMD (License/Master/Doctorat) common framework.

The "audience" which is aimed is mainly* constitued by the UTC to-be engineers. They are engineers-students who are still studying in the UTC and wish to attend, in parallel, a Master's curriculum in a complementary field (Strategic Management), in order to obtain a double degree and a double qualification : "Engineer-Strategist".

The adjusted educational organisation enables student to apply for the M1 (first year of Master), even for the UTC students that are studying as engineer-students at the same time. Applying directly for the M2 (second year of Master) is also possible, as well as a curriculum in 6 months or one year for "international" students.

The whole Master's curriculum (M1 and M2) is set to last 4 semesters . This format enables :

  • the attendance to the Master mainly in parallel for UTC engineers-students (one additional semester only compared to the normal length of their engineering curriculum, as advised by the Conference of Engineering Schools (Conférence des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs));
  • the existence of a "mixing" and contextualization semester for student with various profiles (such as MASS - mathematics applied on social sciences-, or social and human sciences, or philosophy) (about 20% of the expected students);
  • the existence of a final semester mainly aimed at experimenting students innovation projects, hosted and accompanied by the UTC Center for Innovation, in a bottom-up innovation logic.

The second year of the Master, the M2, can be provided in english, in accordance with the linguistic composition of the public. In this case, additionnal documentations, completing the tongue used orally by professors, will be provided. The first year of the Master is, for the time being, provided in French only.
