Cette UV permet de découvrir la dimension acoustique liée à l'urbanisation et à l'habitat, et de s'initier à la modélisation physique dans une thématique qui offre de nombreux débouchés. Les aspects réglementaires et de perception sonore viendront compléter cette UV.
This course covers the modeling of rooms ( concert halls) and urban environments. Geometrical acoustics and statistical methods are applied to study the properties of existing rooms. A particular attention is given to the physics of sound absorbing materials, used for insulation and reverberation control
